What are the spiritual causes of asthma?

 

Breathing is our energy exchange with the Universe.  When we breathe, the Universe is breathing us in as we breathe out and it breathes out as we breathe in.  This is the ultimate infinity signature of our connection to all.  When one develops asthma, they are feeling a lack of connection with the whole and a lack in general.  This is why asthma creates the symptom of difficulty in exhaling.  The person displaying the asthma is attempting to hold on to the energy connection to the Universe out of insecurity or fear that there will not be a replenishing.  As soon as one comes to understand that letting go of their love (breath), with the knowing that it will return, the asthma leaves.  And not only does the asthma leave, the Universe rushes in.    

 

An exercise to do to invite the departure of the symptom, asthma, would be to breathe slowly and deeply while stating the following:

 

“As I breathe out, I give to the Universe, as I breathe in, I breathe in the limitless Universe.  I am always connected to the source.”
